This site was not built by a manufacturer or a marketing agency. It came out of something I see in my work: CPAP patients look for honest reviews of their equipment, and can't find them.
Why I built CPAP Ranker
I'm not on CPAP myself: I've been a sleep technologist for more than ten years. On forums and in patient groups, I keep seeing the same thing: someone struggles with their mask (leaks, marks, noise, waking up) and asks whether anyone has tried a given model. The answers get lost in long threads.
What helps most is neither the manufacturer's leaflet nor a lab test: it's the opinion of a patient whose situation looks like yours. Someone who sleeps on their side, has a beard, breathes through the mouth or is on a similar pressure.
So I built CPAP Ranker so that everyone can share their experience, in a structured way, and help the next patient. The site is only as good as your reviews.
My professional background
As a sleep technologist, I know the equipment from the clinical side: sleep studies, settings, masks, getting used to treatment. I also founded VivaRespire, an online CPAP equipment shop, and I keep close ties with patient associations and sleep professionals.
Transparency and editorial independence
No paid reviews
Every review published is written by a real patient, with no payment involved. Manufacturers cannot buy or remove reviews.
An openly stated partnership with VivaRespire
VivaRespire, the shop I founded, funds the running of this site. Its links appear on product pages. It has no say in ratings or reviews.
Patient accounts are verified
Every patient account is verified by email. Reviews are tied to a real profile, with details about the equipment used and how long the treatment has been going on.
