What will not change, whoever pays

Your data is never sold, rented or shared for commercial purposes. No sponsor, no partner and no manufacturer has access to the member list, to email addresses, or to the sleep profiles declared in reviews.

VivaRespire funds the running of the site and shares the same founder. That is stated wherever it matters, and it stops there: the shop has no more access to your data than an anonymous visitor. CPAP Ranker is a separate project, with its own database and its own rules.

What is public on the site is what you choose to publish: your username, your reviews, and your sleep profile if you make it public. Your name and your email address are never shown.

Why we are looking for sponsors

An honest review site cannot live on ads for the products it rates. We would rather have a few declared supporters, paying for infrastructure and documentation work, than banners.

Welcome here: equipment providers, sleep labs, health insurers, patient associations, and companies that care about how their teams sleep.

• What a sponsor gets: a named mention on this page, a link to their site, and public credit.
• What a sponsor never gets: access to member data, any influence on a rating, the removal of a review they dislike, or preferential placement for a product.

The rules we hold ourselves to

• Every source of funding is disclosed on the site, by name.
• No review is bought, written or edited by us: they come from patients, with an email-verified account.
• No rating is computed in any way other than the average of the reviews received.
• A sponsor asking for special treatment loses the sponsorship, not their review.
