Philips' under-the-nose nasal mask

Strengths

  • Tube on top of the head: Philips presents it for sleeping on your back, side or stomach.
  • Cushion under the nose, with no pressure on the nose bridge.
  • Non-fabric parts can go in the dishwasher once a week, according to the user guide.

Watch out for

  • Nasal mask: if you breathe through your mouth, air escapes.
  • Magnets: it is not part of Philips' 2022 recall of masks with magnets, but its technical sheet carries a magnetic interference warning. If you have an implant, ask Philips or your equipment provider to confirm.
  • No quiet vent claimed by Philips (18 dBA declared at one meter).

Best for

  • Nose breathing, mouth closed
  • Side, stomach or restless sleepers
  • Nose bridge prone to red marks
